São dois b-sides: All Night e In The Moonlight.

Resultado - Música Preferida do Abacate: Inside Job
Confira abaixo o resultado completo:
1 - Inside Job - 37% - 49 VOTOS
2 - Come Back - 15% - 20 VOTOS
3 - Life Wasted - 10% - 13 VOTOS
4 - Severed Hand - 6% - 8 VOTOS
4 - World Wide Suicide - 6% - 8 VOTOS
5 - Marker In The Sand - 5% - 7 VOTOS
6 - Gone - 4% - 6 VOTOS
7 - Big Wave - 3% - 5 VOTOS
7 - Army Reserve - 3% - 5 VOTOS
8 - Parachutes - 3% - 4 VOTOS
9 - Unemployable - 3% - 4 VOTOS
10 - Comatose - 0% - 1 VOTO
11 - Wasted Reprise - 0% - NENHUM VOTO
"Underneath this smile lies everything, all my hopes, anger, pride and shame..."
"...make yourself a pact, not to shut doors on the past,
just for today... I am free"
O Abacate é um grande álbum; pesado e político (Life Wasted, Comatose, Severed Hand, World Wide Suicide, Unemployable), apaixonado e sentimental (Parachutes, Come Back), e que procura um escape (Gone, Life Reserve, Inside Job).

Download: "Eddie Vedder Show" #01
EDDIE VEDDER SHOW EPISODE - 01

1 - Unthought Known - 38 VOTOS - 26%
2 - Force Of Nature - 29 VOTOS - 20%
3 - Amongst The Waves - 20 VOTOS - 15%
4 - Just Breathe - 14 VOTOS - 9%
5 - Gonna See My Friend - 8 VOTOS - 5%
5 - Got Some - 8 VOTOS - 5%
6 - The End - 7 VOTOS - 4%
7 - The Fixer - 6 VOTOS - 4%
7 - Speed of Sound - 6 VOTOS - 4%
8 - Johnny Guitar - 4 VOTOS - 2%
9 - Supersonic - 2 VOTOS - 1%

Cidade: Clearwater
Estado: Florida
Data: 04.12.2012
Local: Ruth Eckerd Hall
Hora: 20:30 (23:30 de Brasília)
Abertura: Glen Hansard
Show de número 22/22
POSTER:
SETLIST:
01. Trouble-(Yusuf Islam)
02. Brain Damage-(Waters)
03. Sometimes
(“Welcome to the last night of the tour.” Ed thanks the audience for coming out to see him and Glen. Struggling through all the shouting, Ed says that “usually the second to last show is the best one. You think it is going to be the last but it is usually the last show. However, I do believe that with your assistance we can make this last show the best one.”)
04. Can’t Keep
(Ed says that there are no plans for any more ukulele shows and that everything coming up is all band shows which he assumes will make the crowd happy but, “I am gonna miss playing these songs.”)
(Ed talks about his state of mind when he first started writing on the ukulele. He says that no matter what he did, you can only make the instrument sound so sad. “If I had written these songs on a guitar with a drop D tuning, people would probably be killing themselves.” He started to write songs strictly for himself and giving them to a few friends to let them know he was okay. As Ed began to feel better, he started writing happier songs. “You can really hear the difference between the early songs and the later ones. This song is one of the later ones and I wrote it after I found the right woman.”)
05. Without You
(Ed talks about the writer Michael Laird who once interviewed Eddie while they were sitting on a bridge over 100 feet in the air. Michael passed away but Ed ran into his family. The next song is for him.)
06. Man Of The Hour
(Ed relates a quote from an interview with Roger Waters. “Tragedy is a gift that makes us empathize with others.” He talks about Roskilde and how he wishes we could empathize without going through the tragedy. “This song is about empowerment through tragedy.”
07. I Am Mine
(Ed talks more about Roskilde and how it devastated the band and it gave them the drive to empathize strongly with other people who had experienced tragedy. It cause them to be more concerned with our soldiers and it led to the band being involved with “Wounded Warriors.”http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org The next song relates to what was going on in Seattle in the nineties.
08. Needle and The Damage Done-(Young)
09. Betterman
10. Millworker-(Taylor)
11. Long Nights w/ Glen Hansard
12. ?(Improv)? (appears to be extemporaneous lyrics about nature and change. Runs directly into the next song)
13. Far Behind
(Ed talks about the crew being the family but singles out the long time monitor engineer Karrie Keyes. “She has put up with more nasty stares than my parents ever did. About 18 years ago she gave birth to twin daughters. I like to think my behavior helped prepare her for raising her kids. I want to bring her onstage so you can see what awesome woman who works for a rock band looks like.” Karrie goes onstage. “So, any girls out there, if you want to be in a rock band or work for a rock band, it can be done. This next song is for Karrie and her girls.”)
14. Guaranteed
(Someone in the audience shouts a request for “Jeremy.” Ed sarcastically says “Oh yeah, Jeremy, that would give me a real thrill to play. Yeah, all by myself. You know trying to play that song without the band is like trying to make a smoothie and the only thing you have is sand.” As Ed tries to talk about the next song someone shouts another request. “You know, whenever I hear a person shouting a song like that at me when I am trying to talk about and play a sensitive song, I just want to buy them a drink. In fact, there is a bar about 3 blocks from here so why don’t you go there now and wait for me? We have a lot of songs to get through so let me play them. This song is about a couple that is the flip side of “Betterman.”)
15. Good Woman-(Chan Marshall)
16. Parting Ways
17. Lukin
18. Porch
Encore Break 1
(Ed talks about all of the fans that travel from Central and South America to see shows. He got a request for “Santa Cruz” from someone and tried to figure out where the person was from but Santa Cruz is very popular city name. He ran into the guy again, “It wasn’t from where I was expecting. He was from Bolivia. So this is for Bolivia.”)
19. Santa Cruz
20. Wishlist
21. Pump Organ
(Jill’s youngest sister Ashley just got engaged so Ed plays the next song for them.)
22. Just Breathe
(Ed talks about the charity Heal EB. A person who had donated money for the WM3 is also helping with this charity and requested a song. http://healeb.org Ed notes that he probably hasn’t played this song by himself since he wrote it. He hasn’t practiced it and isn’t sure how it will go. He is just going to try and go back to what it probably sounded like when he wrote it.
23. Corduroy (played on acoustic guitar)
(Ed praises Glen and says, “I have never seen someone sing so well and so consistently while being so completely hung over. I look forward to this part of the set because I know at least three songs are going to be great. I don’t want to introduce Glen for the last time but maybe someday we an get together in some way again. Glen is just a fantastic singer and songwriter and he reminds us that we need new songs to keep us going. Like medicine. So let’s welcome Dr. Glen Hansard.)
24. Society w/ Glen Hansard-(Hannan)
(Ed tells a story about meeting a young man in Dublin in the mid 90’s. The kid had a cool mod jacket. Ed commented on it and the kid gave Ed the jacket. When Glen and Ed finally met, Ed realized the kid that gave him the jacket was Glen’s cousin. The kid lived with Glen and would borrow his records and his clothes. The kid had actually given Ed Glen’s jacket. Ed isn’t going to give it back. Ed tells the audience they want to perform using the theater's natural acoustics and to please be quiet so everyone can hear. The audience is very quiet for the entire song.)
25. Sleepless Nights w/ Glen Hansard-(Bryant, Bryant) [busking-no mics or PA)
26. Falling Slowly w/ Glen Hansard-(Hansard, Irglová)
27. Rockin’ In The Free World-(Young)
Encore Break 2
28. Hard Sun w/ Glen Hansard-(Petersong)
(after the song the entire Eddie Vedder and Glen Hansard crews come out and take a bow. Ed thanks the audience for such a great reception.)
29. Dream A Little Dream-(Gus Kahn, Wilbur Schwandt, Fabian Andree)

Cidade: Clearwater
Estado: Florida
Data: 03.12.2012
Local: Ruth Eckerd Hall
Hora: 20:30 (23:30 de Brasília)
Abertura: Glen Hansard
Show de número 21/22
POSTER:
SETLIST:
01. Don’t Be Shy-(Yusuf Islam)
02. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
03. Can’t Keep
(Ed discusses writing and the evolution of the next song)
04. Sleeping By Myself
05. Without You
06. Light Today
(Ed drops his beverage glass. His tech comes out to clean it up and Ed asks for a beer because it would be easier to hold. He decides not to play the next song on the set list. The crowd shouts requests but he can’t make out what they are shouting. He asks for them to do it one at a time or appoint someone. He picks a particularly loud person to make the request. I couldn’t hear it but Ed replies, “no man, you are way off base. We gotta pick someone else...Yeah, okay... I will play Van Halen.” He plays the intro to “Ain’t Talking ‘bout Love” for about 5 seconds then stops. He says, “I know what I am going to play.”
07. I’m One
08. Hurt-(Reznor)
(“That is a song I wouldn’t play every night out of respect for the author who is Trent Reznor. I lived in Seattle when there seemed to be an epidemic of people dying from heroin. But I have been thinking a lot about all of the people I knew who have died from overdoses and I have been wishing they were still here.”)
09. Dead Man
(Someone in the audience asks Ed how his arm is doing. As Ed tries to explain, the audience starts whooping and shouting random things. One seemingly drunk woman repeatedly shouts things and Ed finally asks her if she is okay. He apologizes for using bad language with his children here. What I assume is the same woman shouts a string of gibberish at Ed for several seconds. Ed says, “That is a really long sentence to be shouting at someone. Just stop now okay?” Ed manages to finally start talking about his wife and family and how fortunate he is to be able to write a love song and have every word be true. He dedicates the next song to his wife and her grandfather Jim.)
10. Just Breathe
(Ed talks about moving back to Chicago after living in San Diego when he was 17. He was very poor and took subways or busses to the library and would watch movies and look at music books. He would copy the chords from the books onto newspapers and scraps. Photocopying was “above his means” at the time. Years later he was asked to play a Beatles song for the film “I Am Sam”. Ed asked if the song was taken because he knew it really well. Ed thanks Sean Penn, who is at the show, for hiring to play the song for that film as well as the film “Into The Wild”.)
11. You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away-(Lennon, McCartney)
12. Setting Forth
(While Ed is getting his guitar changed, he notes that the crowd are “some rowdy Floridians tonight...you guys are really great and you go right up to the edge then you go over the edge and it is really not so good. Ya gotta watch that edge.” More requests are shouted and one particularly loud woman shouts “Ship Song.” Ed says, “I played that last night. Trust me, I got this. I got it all under control, respectfully yours.”)
13. No Ceiling
14. Guaranteed
15. Rise
(Ed says, “When I first started touring Sean Penn would ask me to play “Long Nights.” I told him I needed someone to play bass on it and at the time I didn’t have anybody to do it. So, this might be the first time that he gets to see it, because he is here tonight. And this isn’t why I mention it because that isn’t why he is here. Sean is just on his way to Haiti where he has been working valiantly to help people there. You can help out by going to the website http://jphro.org So I want to play this song for Sean who is a real hero and is doing real work to help.”)
16. Long Nights w/ Glen Hansard (for Sean Penn)
17. Immortality
18. Lukin (with “Slow Lukin” intro)
19. Porch
Encore Break 1
(Ed talks about meeting his boyhood idol, baseball player José Cardenal. Ed says they say don’t meet your heroes because they will only disappoint you. Sometimes it goes the other way and they go beyond your expectations. This one is for you José.”)
20. Unthought Known
21. Loud Uke
22. I Won’t Back Down-(Petty, Lynne)
(“This is one of the few tours where at the end of it I feel pretty good. I am enjoying it so much and I wish the tour was longer. So, Wednesday night we will be in Atlanta at the Kettle Club...okay that last part was complete bullshit...but you know, I have some work to do. We gotta finish the next Pearl Jam record...I think one of the reasons I don’t want this tour to end is because I am going to miss playing with Glen so much. It has just been fantastic and I really am going to miss him. The next song is the best song on “Into The Wild” and I can say that because I didn’t write it. It was written by Jerry Hannan from Northern California.”)
23. Society w/ Glen Hansard-(Hannan)
(This is the first song Glen and I ever sang together. He came down to the studio while we were working and helped us out. It is sung by The Everly Brothers. Grandpa Jim might know it.”)
24. Sleepless Nights w/ Glen Hansard-(Bryant, Bryant)

He talks about the friends of his that are soldiers and says, “We can be anti-war but pro soldier. People try to turn it around and say it is unpatriotic. But it is clear that we are anti-unnecessary war and we want our soldiers to be taken care of and supported. He mentions all the soldiers that are wounded. He says that for every one soldier that is killed over seas another ten commit suicide. http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org
He also talks about the tragedy that occurred at Roskilde and how that lead to the creation of the song “Arc”....this is the healing prayer I send out to... (the soldiers and the people killed at Roskilde).”

SETLIST:
(“In the immortal words of Marvin Gaye, “Let’s get it on”
01. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
(“Who ever said, ‘Florida is a sunny place for shady people’, it wasn’t me. I don’t often say this, and the crew knows I don’t say this, ...this is one of the few times where I wish it was going to last longer.”)
02. Girl From The North Country-(Dylan)
(Ed asks for the house lights to be turned up so he can see the 5 year old child someone has brought to the show. “I could only see these little legs moving...”
A man and woman both shout “I love you Eddie.” Ed says, “Her I believe. You? I think that is the alcohol talking but I will take it either way.”)
03. Can’t Keep
(“I know the little five year old girl can’t relate to this song yet. When you get older be careful of those boys out there. Find a good one. As good as your dad.”)
04. Sleeping By Myself
05. Without You
(Some drunk shouts “Freebird.” Ed says, “That is such a Florida thing to say. You don’t want to represent your state like that. But I will play ‘Margaritaville’. As the crowd continues to shout requests Ed says, “Oh, actually I heard one. That is good. Just to prove that I will occasionally play something someone shouts at me. This is from The Who. When they played it, it legitimized the ukulele as an instrument to me. When I started to learn how to play it was the first song I learned. And the first song I ever wrote sounds a lot like it. I never gave Pete any money but we're still friends. Pete is mentioned heavily in my will.”)
06. Blue, Red And Grey-(Townshend)
07. Wishlist
(Ed talks about going through a tragic experience and trying to tell someone about. He says the least helpful thing a person can say back is, “I can’t even imagine going through that.” He says, “well try to imagine it and tell me what to do.” “Sometimes you run into something terrible and you just have to go through it. This next song is about that.”
08. Thumbing My Way
(Ed talks about what led to him writing the song “Unthought Known” and how he forgot to send some items he promised to sign for friend.)
09. Unthought Known
10. Speed Of Sound
11. Far Behind
12. No Ceiling
13. Guaranteed
14. Long Nights w/ Glen Hansard
15. Deadman
(“It is getting to be the end of the tour and there are few songs I haven’t got to yet. This one I have only played a few times...It is such a beautiful song that I don’t want to fuck it up. I just want to get it right. It is such a beautiful song by Nick Cave, who has an encyclopedia full of beautiful songs. So maybe with your help I can get through it.”)
16. The Ship Song-(Nick Cave)
(While Ed is saying he wants to make sure he doesn’t mess up the next song in honor of the writer because it is of such delicate beauty a woman in the audience repeatedly shouts “daughter, daughter, daughter, daughter, daughter.” Ed says, “Yeah, I have two” and finishes his description of the delicate ballad he is going to play and hopes he won’t mess it up.)
17. Lukin (he messes it up)
18. Porch
Encore Break 1
(Ed notes that “not a lot of musicians get the kind of response you guys are giving me and I really appreciate it. I have two more shows left and I just can’t imagine it being any better than this, so thank you.” He notes that he has some friends in the audience that are celebrating very long relationships. He dedicates the song to all of those that have 20 years and those that will have 20.)
19. Just Breathe
(Ed talks about Willie covering his song. He notes that he has been talking about smoking pot a lot lately even though he doesn’t smoke that much anymore. “When I was 18 that was my life, smoking pot. That is why I had to stop smoking it for ten years. I don’t think you should go to jail for it but pot will definitely break your motivation. I had to stop so I could get my life together.”)
20. Pump Organ
21. V. White (Boss Loop Sample preset. music is a slow R&B groove. Ed uses a basso profondo voice and talks about various things in Florida and does a lot of “Oh Yeah..” After words he apologizes to Glen’s mom who is in the audience.)
22. Parting Ways
23. The End
(Ed invites Chan Marshall out to sing with him. He describes her as one of his favorite singers and songwriters and is thrilled to have her out here with him and they are going to sing a couple of songs together. When Chan gets onstage some drunk shouts a bunch of unintelligible gibberish for about 15 seconds before finally stopping after being told to shut up by another member of the audience.)
24. Good Woman w/ Chan Marshall-(Chan Marshall). (Ed sings lead vocal and plays acoustic guitar. Chan sings back up vocals and plays acoustic guitar.)
(“This is a song I have done a lot on this tour but only since last night have I been able to do it with the person I recorded it with.”)
25. Tonight You Belong To Me w/ Chan Marshall-(Rose/David)
(Ed mentions that tour is ending in a few days and has some big waves to catch and they need to finish up the next Pearl Jam record. Ed asks Glen if he has finished writing those songs for him. (implying that Ed was getting Glen to write songs for the album so he they can finish). Ed says on the other hand he doesn’t want the tour to end because he has enjoyed playing with Glen so much.)
26. Society w/ Glen Hansard-(Hannan)
27. Sleepless Nights w/ Glen-(Bryant, Bryant) {played normally-not busked}
(Some guy gets up onstage while Ed is talking about politics and the divide between the rich and poor. Ed sees the guy who appears to try and hand him a CD or something. Ed says, “Be careful man, this is a ‘stand your ground’ state. I could shoot you. It is your law around here. Be careful. I will listen to this later, maybe. But you gotta be careful man. Especially when I am talking about politics.”)
28. This Land Is Your Land-(Guthrie)
29. Falling Slowly w/ Glen Hansard-(Hansard, Irglová)
(Ed talks about the wounded warriors program and tells the person who was chanting “USA, USA” after ‘This Land Is Your Land” and says, I am not singling you out but I have heard people chant that when we talk about certain things and think we are speaking negatively. The gist of Ed’s message is about the need to really support our troops and give them the care they need and deserve. He explains how “Arc” was built and gives the math on how long it would take to create a song for all of the soldiers killed and wounded. The song for 9 people is about 3 minutes. For all the troops it would be about 11 days.)
30. Arc
Encore Break 2
31. Hard Sun w/ Glen Hansard & Chan Marshall-(Peterson)
(Ed thanks Sean Casey, who is the person that suggested a successful treatment after Ed hurt his back that lead to the shows being rescheduled.
32. Dream A Little Dream-(Gus Kahn, Wilbur Schwandt, Fabian Andree)
